Noro Kureyon Knitted Fingerless Mitts
I call them knitted gauntlets, the Fall/Winter 2005 issue of KnitScene, where I got the pattern, called them fingerless mitts. Same thing, I think. I made these (my first cable project) with Noro Kureyon color #131. I was pretty happy with the way they turned out. The thumb was my first project with double pointed needles. Note: don’t use metal double pointed needles when you first start using them - use bamboo. The stitches slide off the metal needles fairly easily, making using dpns seem harder than it is.
