Kye’s Second Poncho
So I decide today to finally sit down and sew together the poncho for my niece Kye, which I finished knitting sometime in August. I lay out the pieces, which are supposed to be two rectangles of identical length:
Huh. How did that happen? I know I measured them as I went along.
Oh. I may have measured them when they were laying across my lap. Guess that didn’t work.
Luckily, after I’d sewn the pieces together and blocked them, it turned out pretty much all right:

I used KnitPicks Suri Dream in Lilac. It’s soft and fuzzy, I’m not allergic to it (unlike mohair), and you can’t beat the price.
