O.J. Simpson’s Book and TV Special Are Canceled
New York Times:
Faced with a growing uproar, Rupert Murdoch, the chairman the News Corporation, announced this afternoon that his company had canceled publication of the pseudo-memoir/confessional by O.J. Simpson, “If I Did It,” as well as a related television special that was to be broadcast on the Fox network next week.
Well really, what possessed them to think that this was a good idea in the first case? The man is a sociopath.

So is Rupert Murdoch.
He is in the mold of the press barons of the nineteen-twenties. He is a craven creature, utterly devoid of morals or values.
His contempt for us mere mortals, anyone not as driven as he, blinds him.
I’m sure that he thought this piece of drivel was a good idea.
He’d pose his own mother nude and star her in a snuff-film if it was going to give him something to hawk on the street corners.
There is nothing to be done about these people except vote with your money because, if we’ve led a good life, that is the only thing we have in common with them.

I don’t think Rupert Murdoch even has the excuse of being a sociopath. He’s just greedy for money and power.
