Deborah, thanks so much for the felted bowl patterns. I put a link to your pattern on my own knitting blog so others could find it as well. You really do beautiful work.

I've fallen in love with felting! Bowls make such nice gifts too.

This is the GREATEST!!!!!!thank you so much. I am on my fourth. They are going to be Mother's day gifts and gifts for others. They are addicting. I used two balls of chunky weight and 10.5 needles because that is what I had. The result is a firm bowl. Thank youso much. Try it, you will be hooked, or should I say "bowled" over

Deborah:

Thank you for posting your felted bowl patterns. I've been searching for a variety of sizes and shapes. I've made a number of Cat Bordhi felted mobius baskets and one Carol Bristol felted pot (I made another by doubling all of measurements and it looks like a gigantic charcoal briquet -- so sad). I'd like to learn more about plotting out the dimensions mathematically in hopes of the final product looking like my original plan. If you have any designing-for-shrinkage tips, I'd love to hear them.
